FLEXMODE COMMUNITY STANDARDS

Effective Date: April 19, 2026

Our Promise

Flexmode exists because of one simple belief: we move, connect and belong together.

Whether you're showing up to a weekend run, joining a pickup game, discovering a new sport, or connecting with people who share your passion, Flexmode is the space where that happens. To keep it that way for everyone, we ask every member to commit to the standards below.

These standards apply everywhere you interact with Flexmode, on our app, on our website, and at every in-person event we host or facilitate. They are not just rules. They are the foundation of the community we're building together.

1. Respect Everyone

The Flexmode community includes people of all backgrounds, fitness levels, abilities, ages, genders, races, ethnicities, religions, and identities. Every person who shows up deserves to feel welcome and respected, no exceptions.

What this means:

  • Treat others the way you want to be treated, online and in person.
  • Do not use language, imagery, or behavior that demeans, degrades, or discriminates against anyone.
  • Do not harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other members, guests, event staff, or partners.
  • Disagreements happen, handle them with maturity and good faith.
  • If someone asks you to stop a behavior, stop.

2. Show Up with Integrity

Everything you share on Flexmode, including your profile, your posts, your event registrations should be honest and real.

What this means:

  • Use your real identity. Do not create fake, duplicate, or impersonation accounts.
  • Do not misrepresent your credentials, skills, or qualifications (for example, claiming to be a certified coach or medical professional when you are not).
  • Do not post false or misleading information about events, venues, or other members.
  • Do not register for events you do not intend to attend. Seats are limited; if you can't make it, cancel so someone else can join.
  • If you create or host an event on Flexmode, provide accurate details and follow through on your commitments.

3. Be Safe: For Yourself and Others

Physical activity carries inherent risk. We take safety seriously, and we expect our members to as well.

What this means:

  • Know your limits and participate in activities appropriate for your skill and fitness level.
  • Do not participate in events while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Follow all event rules, venue requirements, and safety instructions from event staff.
  • Wear appropriate safety equipment when required or recommended.
  • If you witness a safety concern or emergency at an event, alert staff immediately.
  • Do not engage in behavior at events that endangers yourself or others, including reckless physical conduct, fighting, or ignoring evacuation or emergency instructions.

4. Keep It Positive Online

Your posts, comments, messages, and content on Flexmode contribute to the experience of every member in the community.

What this means:

  • Share content that uplifts, informs, or connects — not content that divides or harms.
  • Do not post hate speech, graphic violence, sexual content, or content that exploits or endangers others.
  • Do not spam. Unsolicited promotions, mass messages, and irrelevant posts disrupt the community.
  • Do not share another member's personal information without their consent (no doxxing).
  • Do not share intimate images of another person without their explicit consent — ever.
  • If you share health or fitness advice, be responsible. Do not present opinions as medical facts.

5. Protect Privacy

Every member has a right to privacy. Respect it.

What this means:

  • Do not share photos or videos of other members at events without their knowledge or consent, especially in private or sensitive contexts.
  • Do not share another person's contact information, location, or identifying details without their permission.
  • Be mindful of what you post publicly. Your public posts may be visible to people outside the Flexmode community.
  • If someone asks you to remove content featuring them, take that request seriously.

6. Keep Commerce Clean

Flexmode is a community, not a marketplace for unsolicited selling, recruiting, or self-promotion.

What this means:

  • Do not use Flexmode to sell products or services without Flexmode's prior approval.
  • Do not recruit members into multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, or unrelated business ventures.
  • Do not use events or clubs to promote outside business interests without organizer consent and Flexmode approval.
  • If you are a sponsor or brand partner, operate within the terms of your agreement with Flexmode and do not engage in ambush marketing at events.

7. Respect the Platform

Flexmode's technology and infrastructure exist to serve the community. Do not abuse it.

What this means:

  • Do not attempt to hack, scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt Flexmode's systems or data.
  • Do not use bots, automation, or scripts to interact with the platform.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to other members' accounts or data.
  • Report bugs or vulnerabilities to us responsibly rather than exploiting them.

8. Support a Good Experience for All

We're all here because we love being active. Help us keep that at the center of everything.

What this means:

  • Welcome newcomers; not everyone has the same background or experience level.
  • Encourage others, especially those who are just getting started.
  • If you organize a club or group, make it inclusive and follow through on commitments to your members.
  • Leave venues and shared spaces better than you found them.
  • Be an ambassador for the values of this community, both online and off.

How We Handle Violations

We review reports of potential violations and evaluate context, severity, intent, and history before taking action. Depending on the situation, we may:

  • Send a warning explaining the violation.
  • Remove content that violates these standards.
  • Restrict features such as posting, messaging, or event registration.
  • Suspend your account temporarily.
  • Permanently ban your account and bar future use of the Services.
  • Remove you from an event without a refund.
  • Contact law enforcement where required by law or where necessary to protect safety.

We aim to be consistent and fair. Repeat violations, serious harm, or deliberate abuse of our community will be treated with greater severity.

How to Report

If you see something that violates these standards, please report it:

  • In-app: Use the report button on any post, profile, or event.
  • Email: contact@theflexmode.com
  • At an event: Speak directly to event staff.

We review every report. Your identity as the reporter will be kept confidential to the extent possible.

Appeals

If you believe we took action against your account or content in error, you may appeal by contacting us at contact@theflexmode.com within 60 days of the enforcement action. Include your account information and a clear explanation of why you believe the decision was incorrect. A member of our team will review your appeal and respond.

The Fine Print

These Community Standards work alongside — and are incorporated into — our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, which contain additional legal detail. In the event of any conflict between these Standards and those documents, the Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy control. We may update these Standards from time to time. Continued use of Flexmode after an update means you accept the revised Standards.
